Recording in Progress is an immersive experience that subjects audience members to surveillance in the realm of an intimate space. The work encourages the viewer to confront their surveillance behavior both as someone who is watched and who watches others. When the audience member enters the column of fabric, they consent to being recorded. How does this environment change their behavior?
